Using My Summer Wardrobe in Autumn

Using My Summer Wardrobe in Autumn

Autumn has made a shy and delayed appearance this year and I am actually happy with that as it means I have postponed shopping for my autumn wardrobe and instead been using my Summer wardrobe in Autumn. It is almost summer still here in the UK and although I love Autumn and the coats and jacket trends that gradually creep up, I am actually really enjoying still wearing my summer dresses into the month of October.

I think there is quite a lot of your summer wardrobe you can reuse in Autumn, and it is all about wisely choosing the right accessories and colour pallet while you put together the ensemble.

Here are a few styles of me using my summer wardrobe in Autumn.

1. Colour of the season

It cannot get more autumnal that this gorgeous Amber coloured dress that I have proudly brought from my summer Wardrobe into my Autumn Collection. To wear it well this season I have paired it with my Burberry scarf and Marks & Spencer boots that keep me just warm. The colours come together so well and create the perfect Autumn vibe.

2. The Pastel Pallet

This is a coord set from SheIn, a fast fashion brand. I love this look because my Grey Jacket from Newlook sits so beautifully on the pastel toned colours of my two piece set and again is a good example of how a Summer piece can still be worn in Autumn if you choose the right colours and accessories which in this case is a tan handbag from Mulberry.

3. Holding On To Summer

I actually wore this outfit a few weeks ago when I went out shopping in London and to me this outfit is a bit of me holding on to Summer while partly looking forward to Summer. The plaid hat and trousers are screaming Autumn Fashion while the bardot top couldn’t get more Summery.

I hope you enjoyed the three looks and I also hope the weather stays warm-ish for a bit longer so we can all experiment more of these Summer-Autumn looks.

Lots of love
