London is one of my favourite cities in the world and there’s nothing like being in London on a glorious sunny day, having coffee here and a cupcake there in its instagrammable cafes. So having explored quite a few cafes and restaurants I decided to do a quick guide of London’s Most Instagrammable Cafes for anyone planning a visit to this gorgeous city.
You probably have seen a zillion photos of bloggers at this pretty cafe adorned with flowers. As far as I remember this was the first cafe to go all out with the flower display and decor. the cupcakes are beautiful and truly delicious but they are pretty pricey, I mean £8 for a cupcake and £7 for a coffee is a tad bit too much haha but if you want those delightful shots in front of a pink building then it is all worth it.
If you are a fan of 24 carat gold drinks (yes 24 carat!) and unicorn cakes and cookies then Saint Aymes is the place to go. Saint Aymes is one of my favourite cafes personally. I love the rainbow cake, the staff are so friendly and warm, it is quite a big cafe so plenty of room which means you dont have to queue up (generally) and the Wisteria Hysteria is real. The lilac wisteria display is so beautiful and again makes a very good instagram picture.
There are two Elan cafes in London [Elan Park Lane and Elan Brompton Road], they are both characterised by their iconic peonies flower walls, distinctively stylish decor and delicious food and cakes. The cakes are one of the best cakes I’ve had in the UK, the red velvet and chocolate are my favourite and again the staff is very friendly. There are queues here even on a weekday but I do feel that a bit of wait is totally worth it.
I would say they are relatively new to the flower display game but nonetheless make a solid statement even without the pink flowers. Conveniently located right outside Victoria Coach station, this place serves delicious food and an array of yummy cakes. Their afternoon tea is a must try if visiting this cafe.
Aubaine have several branches dotted across London and although I have not been to the one in Selfridges, it is definitely one I would recommend for those pretty pictures. From my experience at Aubaine Mayfair (read more here) I can confirm that the food will definitely be up to scratch and the experience will no doubt be delightful.
This one is next on my list of cafes to visit as I have seen some amazing reviews and pictures of this cafe. Gorgeous decor of big white flowers on pink walls and pretty looking cakes make this place special and unique.
Hope you enjoyed the post and plan to visit theses places on your next trip to London.
