Getting Ready for Autumn

Getting Ready for Autumn

It’s 1:30 am and apparently this is the best time to write a blog post, my house is quiet, my 2 month old baby daughter is asleep and so is my husband. I’m sat in bed quickly gathering some thoughts and typing away some of my Autumnal fashion advice as I’ve very recently packed away my summer clothes (& it suddenly feels like Autumn here in the UK) and hence had a moment or two to reflect on the trends and essentials of this season, so read on!

A good warm coat, a smart blazer or a killer leather jacket, pick whatever tickles your fancy, or have all the options open. I am a smart blazer kind of girl but this season I’ve decided to experiment some new trends and venture into the leather jacket territory. I have linked some of the season’s beautifully made pieces that I’m currently eyeing. You are welcome 😊

Option 1: All Saints

Option 2: Zara

Option 3: Reiss

Option 4: Asos

The Colours:

This Autumn I will swear my allegiance to burgundy and tan . You will see a lot of those colours on my Instagram and blog, be it in the form of wide leg trousers, a handbag I’ve been long dreaming about or a bold lipstick!

Pack Warm

If you haven’t already, then it’s certainly time to invest in a few good pairs of boots, my favourite style is the OTK boots as they allow me to transition a lot of my dresses into the colder months. A good pair of black and/or stone grey boots will be ideal to see you through Autumn & Winter.

As much as I love the bright colourful fashion of Summer, as soon as the crisp air hits, I find my loyalty shifting towards the darker shades that mark the trend of Autumn/Winter and yet another excuse to go shopping so, happy spending amigas!  Xx
